MY EVERYDAY SPIRULINA SMOOTHIE
This spirulina smoothie is my go to breakfast most days! Gives me an amazing boost of energy and fuel for the day. Spirulina is a superfood and is one of the few plant-based sources of complete protein(contains all essential amino acids our bodies need). It’s also a good source of calcium, iron, magnesium, and vitamins A, E, and K. It makes me feel amazing!
INGREDIENTS: (enough for one serving, double if making for you and someone else)
1 cup of coconut water
splash of organic apple juice
1/2 a frozen banana
1 cup of spinach (sometimes I add kale also if I have it )
1/2 cup of blueberries/pineapple
dash of cinnamon
1 Tbsp of spirulina powder
INSTRUCTIONS:
Place all ingredients in the blender until completely blended and green
